went to basement music with christian last night, had a pretty cool time. i think i managed to tow a pretty good line between being pissed enough to dance to stuff, but being sober enough that i didn't fall on my arse or gibber at people

was meant to be going to preston this evening to nab glenn's guitar. this is now the second week of attempting the suspiciously simple mission, and yet again it didn't happen. ah well, maybe tomorrow night eh?

anyway as that all went tits-up i went round christian's and bullied him instead. we watched the latest episode of smallville, it was pretty cool. the daily planet! maggie sawyer! a fucking great big vault full of kryptonite!

then we finally got to watch the second half of the firefly pilot, which was nice. not particularly exciting as it was mostly just character introduction stuff or bits we'd already seen. nice anyway
