glenn & marie took me to see Calexico in manchester last night. they were ace, though we had to scarper before the end to rescue glenn's car from an evil car park. in the nick of time!

also i discovered that a parcel that they'd sen over easter had turned up here but been stolen by evil postmen. rescuing it from the depot, i discovered the parcel contained A TERRIFYING SATANIC COCONUT MONKEY. the gift that keeps on giving!

tonight i'm off to sunny morecambe to see X-Men 2, which i'm tragically excited about
