Despite my bold claim in the previous entry, I didn't actually mention any TV shows did I? Cybertv has picked up a bit recently, although the ever-lovely BSG has stopped for some sort of weird mid-season holiday, there's a bunch of new stuff that I'm currently enjoying - the second seasons of Lost and Veronica Mars plus the final one of West Wing. I'm catching up on Carnivale, Arrested Development and Deadwood in bits and pieces too. At least, I would have been, but my nefarious tv-thieving activities have been put on hold by our internet being cut off by those dicks at BT. Apparently it's standard for them to cut off any ADSL connection to a house when the phone bill switches from one person to another. So standard they don't actually bother mentioning it to the people in the house before or after. Our connection died and it took me a week just to find out what the fuck had happened to it. Then another week (plus 30 quid) to get it turned back on again, or at least what they claimed to be a week. Hopefully it'll be back on when I get back from holiday.

I'm down in Charlbury with my family this week, we're heading off to Amsterdam tonight. I think we leave for the airport at 3am, I doubt I'll bother trying to get any sleep beforehand, I'll just have to wander round the city in a fatigued daze on Monday. It'll be okay, I'll just blend in with all the stoners.

I'm not sure what I'll get up to while I'm there, aside from meeting Dean, I guess I'll just mooch about and see the sights. My mum wants to go to the Anne Frank house, I might give that a miss though. David Cross spoiled it for me. I wander if they'd let me listen to In The Aeroplane Over The Sea on my walkmen while I'm there? I might have a religious experience.
