I watched Hellboy last night with Christian. It was okay. I enjoyed it, so at least it wasn't a disappointment. It was nice to see how faithful they'd generally stayed to the comics (especially Hellboy himself, Ron Perlman was spot on). It just didn't really excite me at any point. I guess I'm going to compare any comic-adaptation I see from now on to Spiderman 2, which was of course the mutt's nuts.

That new Batman film excites me though. Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon!
