Well, I have a new home now. Saturday was pretty monstrous as I spent a solid twelve hours from morning to evening alternating between packing stuff, moving boxes, cleaning stuff, and going back to packing again. Well, at least it's all done now. Though my room is actually still full of boxes of books. I've managed to make a sort of corridor between them to get to my bed.

I noticed while walking to Christian's on Sunday that my path there takes me past each house I've previously lived in Lancaster. Like some sort of weird nostalgia tour. It's funny sometimes when I realise how long I've been here for now. In some ways Lancaster still seems an adjunct to my life in Preston, it's like I'm still waiting for things in Lancaster to "start happening". And yet I've actually now been living here for two years more than I lived in Preston.

The internet seems full of things I want at the moment. It's all tat though. Tat! I don't actually need any more t-shirts. Even t-shirts as lovely as those at Threadless. It's not like I look good in them anyway. However, I feel that I probably do need a giant cuddly germ in my life. The psychic benefits of these sorts of things shouldn't be underestimated.
