so, anyway, yeah... random shit that has happened over the last two weeks that blogger seems to want me to not post about...

well for a start i went to see dan bern at the maze in nottingham. he was ace. went with dave and frasier, sadly neither of them seemed to enjoy it as much. but dave was driving so wasn't allowed to drink, and james had never heard his music before. bummer.

it was christian's birthday on halloween, though he wouldn't do any crazy party stuff we did go out on saturday and had a pretty good time, saw vick & tom for the first time in ages. heheh, christian was a fucking mess as well. oh, and we bumped into cain dingle off emmerdale, for some bloody reason. no, really.

earlier in the week i went to wolverhampton to see the electric soft parade with glenn & marie, who had sweetly bought me a ticket. props to the man from fleetwood for driving me up and down there as well. to be honest i had only a vague idea of who the band were, though it turned out i recognised a lot of the songs. they were pretty cool anyway, mainly due to the singer/guitarist swapping places with the drummer halfway through the set.

in the meantime... not much to report. work's really bugging me at the moment. been mostly listening to the polyphonic spree, ikara colt and len. christian got the donnie darko dvd, which fucking rules. however donnie darko doesn't seem to be on any cinemas anywhere near us, which does not.

oh yeah, last weekend i was accosted by the dude from modus i keep meeting whenever i'm drunk in preston. rather distrubingly he'd been to my site and said he liked it. which was nice, sort of. i don't really expect people i don't already know to see my site though, if i did i'd probably make more effort to look like less of a freak. ah well.
